Lake Charles, LA, April 24, 2024 – Cremer Volunteer Pastilles (CVP), part of Cremer North America and a leading provider of custom pastillating, packaging and related services, is excited to announce their partnership with the city of Lake Charles, LA for The Anchor Teen Center.
The Anchor Teen Center, located in the Cpl. Donald Ray Stevens Community Center, opened with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 24, attended by Mayor Nic Hunter, community leaders, elected officials, and CVP staff.
“CVP is excited to have the opportunity to partner with the city and Mayor Hunter in this project,” said Bradley Drury, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cremer North America. “We are committed to investing in the communities in which we do business, for the benefit of those who live and work there.”
The Anchor Teen Center is designed as a safe, structured environment providing after-school activities for teens aged 13-18. The center features engaging amenities and recreation including sports, TVs and video games, with plans to host special guest speakers and other activities.
The opening of the Anchor Teen Center was made possible through CVP’s annual contribution in a five-year commitment with the City of Lake Charles and the Partners in Parks Fund at the Community Foundation SWLA. The Anchor Teen Center is open from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
