Investing in the Community Leads to Collaborative City Partnership

At Cremer North America, we believe our flexibility is one of our greatest assets. Whether that’s for the markets we serve, the various products we supply to our customers, or the communities we support.

Last year, Cremer North America acquired Volunteer Pastilles, a leading pastillating services company located in Lake Charles, LA The company began operations in 1991 to provide safe, environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions to every customer. Additionally, they focus on active and supportive participation in their communities at both locations in Lake Charles, and Dayton, TN.

The newly renamed Cremer Volunteer Pastilles (CVP) is proud to continue its community advocacy by partnering with the city of Lake Charles on the Anchor Teen Center.

“CVP is excited to have the opportunity to partner with the city in this project,” said Bradley Drury, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cremer North America. “We are committed to investing in the communities in which we do business, for the benefit of those who live and work there.”

The new space, located in the Cpl. Donald Ray Stevens Community Center, opened with a ribbon cutting event on April 24, 2024. Members of the Cremer team, along with the mayor of Lake Charles, elected officials and Anchor Teen Center staff were in attendance.

The Anchor Teen Center features several engaging amenities and recreation options including sports and video games. It is designed to be a place for teenagers ages 13-18 to have a safe environment for after-school activities. Plans are also underway to host events with special guest speakers and other activities.

CVP helped open the center through an annual contribution across a five-year commitment, working with the City of Lake Charles and the Partners in Parks Fund at the Community Foundation SWLA.

“We are grateful for the great collaboration between ourselves and the City of Lake Charles,” Drury said.

We are proud to be a key partner in the new Anchor Teen Center and look forward to many years of involvement with helping young people in Lake Charles.
